How to use nano banana pro prompts
Nano Banana Pro is the bigger, more careful version of Google's Nano Banana image model, the Gemini feature behind the figurine and saree portrait trends. The Pro model is slower per image but noticeably better at three things: readable text inside images, higher-resolution output, and keeping the same person consistent across a set of pictures.
What Pro actually does better
- Text in images. Posters, name banners, birthday cards. The regular model garbles small lettering; Pro usually gets short text right on the first or second try.
- Detail at large sizes. Pro renders at higher resolution, so edits meant for printing or cropping hold up.
- Consistency across images. Give it your photo once and ask for several looks; the face stays steadier from image to image than with the standard model.
For a quick one-off edit, the regular model is faster and usually enough. Pro earns its keep when the output matters: invitations, profile pictures, anything with words on it.

Writing for Pro vs the regular model
The prompt language is the same, so anything from our main nano banana prompt page works here unchanged. The difference is what you can ask for. With Pro you can afford requests the standard model fumbles: exact spellings, multi-image sets, fine fabric detail. Keep the keep line ('keep my face exactly the same') in every prompt; Pro respects it more reliably, but it still needs to be told.
